During the work on the Hôtel du Pavot I helped other beings emerge from the little sewing machine. They became a tangled group of flesh and fur that clung together from the start. But they needed a door to lean on – and in the kitchen of my home in Seillans (this is early 1970) a perfect door was waiting to fulfill its role for Open Sesame.
