At Sam Francis' Litho Shop in Santa Monica.  A big lithograph straight out of my early etching in Accueil.  But different. Here were eight colors, each one demanding as much hefting, wiping, cleaning, re-inking, positioning as, I thought, the building of a bridge.  It was, as they say, awesome.
